My first review will be of my very own game, Barry the ball.
The game opens with Barry, the game's hero, standing (if balls can be said to stand) before a white backdrop. The rest of the game continues in much the same way. The first thing one notices is Barry's obvious ball like qualities and the fact that he is blue (although this dosen't get in the way as the game progresses).
This game could best be compared to standing in a white room with a ball, the obvious differences being the fast paced later levels. Graphics are nice for a Flash game and the frame rate is solid with no jumpiness, even when the explosions come in, later on. The only real problem to be found in this game is the fact that nothing ever seems to happen, ever.
Barry is a gritty, no-nonsense kind of ball and if sales figures are as high as the developers are hoping, we could be seeing much more of him in future.
Overall: 8.9
Worth buying for the main character alone.
May not be for you if you enjoy games with
plotlines and more than one charcter.
